Job Description:

We are looking for an In-Branch Grain Originator who is eager to proactively work with producers, develop long-term relationships, and provide profitable grain-marketing strategies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Originating grain from existing and prospective customers through strong relationship management
  • Providing timely market information, cash grain bids, and marketing plans to branch customers
  • Purchasing grain deliveries and completing contracts, settlements, and related documentation
  • Working closely with the branch team, carriers, and facility personnel to coordinate deliveries
  • Supporting branch marketing, customer experience, and advisory sales efforts
  • Supporting the Agronomy Sales Team with counter and phone sales, order entry, field plans, delivery/blend tickets, soil sampling coordination, and grower support within Agvance

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in agriculture, business, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of grain markets (corn, soybeans, wheat) and grain-marketing strategies
  • Strong customer focus with proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Valid G driver's license
