We are seeking a proactive imports & logistics specialist for a temporary position within a leading Greek FMCG company. The imports & logistics specialist will oversee the end-to-end import process and logistics flow to ensure operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the direct point of contact for suppliers and internal clients regarding product imports
Communicate product orders to suppliers and register them in the system
Apply follow up of suppliers orders, resolve delivery issues and register deliveries in the system
Collaborate with the customs broker
Be handling of product imports documents
Collaborate with Purchasing Dept for transportation vendors selection
Act as Logistics support to SC Management
Monitor adherence of 3PL partner contract
Resolve daily operational issues with 3PL partner
Monitor and report KPIs, perform analyses and propose countermeasures on deviations
Prepare data for Logistics yearly budget
Support Asset Management process by controlling & reporting assets stock, communicating orders to suppliers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or Business Administration or equivalent
At least 3 years’ experience in a relevant role, preferably in a trading FMCG company
