Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive imports & logistics specialist for a temporary position within a leading Greek FMCG company. The imports & logistics specialist will oversee the end-to-end import process and logistics flow to ensure operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the direct point of contact for suppliers and internal clients regarding product imports
  • Communicate product orders to suppliers and register them in the system
  • Apply follow up of suppliers orders, resolve delivery issues and register deliveries in the system
  • Collaborate with the customs broker
  • Be handling of product imports documents
  • Collaborate with Purchasing Dept for transportation vendors selection
  • Act as Logistics support to SC Management
  • Monitor adherence of 3PL partner contract
  • Resolve daily operational issues with 3PL partner
  • Monitor and report KPIs, perform analyses and propose countermeasures on deviations
  • Prepare data for Logistics yearly budget
  • Support Asset Management process by controlling & reporting assets stock, communicating orders to suppliers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a relevant role, preferably in a trading FMCG company
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of ERP, preferably SAP R3
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis
