Job Responsibility:
Manage national sea import operations, delivering seamless, end-to-end solutions for key customers
Execute on daily operational deliverables, including but not limited to coordination with strategic partners, liaising with our internal customs department, arranging and tracking cartage, completing job billing
Serve as a primary contact with customers, carriers, service providers, and overseas partners
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication, rapid problem-solving, and consistent follow-up
Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and domestic regulatory requirements
Proactively resolve shipment issues, escalating when necessary to maintain on-time performance
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and suppliers
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in international freight forwarding, with a proven track record in seafreight operations
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Import Seafreight Operator experience
Great communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with CargoWise (CW1) is an advantage
A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a drive to deliver results and grow within the role
