Job Responsibility:

  • Lodge Sea Cargo Report/Under bonds
  • Check pre-alert documents for the registration process
  • Send arrival notifications/pre-alerts to clients, outside brokers, and the transportation department
  • Check transshipments for confirmed vessels or ETD dates and update the system accordingly
  • Pay shipping line / co-load invoices 5 days out to ETA
  • Identify any discrepancies on a payable invoice
  • Completing billing process
  • timely and accurately coding of supplier’s invoices and preparing files for handover
  • Delivering a high level of customer service
  • Participating in general office and warehouse tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Import Operator experience
  • 1 - stop experience
  • CargoWise experience
  • Ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Team oriented, have an eye for detail, willing to learn and see work through to completion
  • Hard working attitude
