As an Import Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our importing process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibility

  • Accurately and efficiently submit customs entries, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Review and maintain all import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, phytosanitary certificates, and POAO certificates, ensuring accuracy and HMRC compliance
  • Liaise with hauliers, customs agents, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve delays, documentation issues, or compliance concerns
  • Track shipments proactively and provide timely progress updates to customers and hauliers
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer queries, delivering clear and timely status updates
  • Manage both personal and shared mailboxes, prioritising, tracking, and responding to enquiries efficiently
  • Maintain accurate internal trackers, updating them promptly to ensure all information remains current

Requirements

  • Proven experience in import coordination or logistics, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail paired with strong organisational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficient workflow management
  • Proactive approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions
