Experience within an import/export role is desirable but not essential if you have had some exposure to this type of environment

Job Responsibility

Process and manage import/export orders from suppliers
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
Prepare and maintain documentation
Work with customs to facilitate the clearance of imported/exported goods
Ensure all duties and taxes are calculated and paid on time
Arrange transportation and logistics for incoming shipments
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs officials to resolve issues
Maintain clear communication with internal departments regarding shipment status
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse for proper stock management
