Currently we are looking for an Import Administration Assistant, to work in close association with our Import Administrator, Sales Admin team, Accounts team, Shipping department and other areas of the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the Administrative team
  • Ensure paperwork is kept up to date and filed correctly
  • Archive maintenance
  • Process IPO's and Works Order Cards
  • Provide clearance instructions for goods that are entering the UK from abroad including adherence to IPR protocols
  • Update the Import Database on a daily basis
  • Conduct administration duties as directed by the Supervisor including checking and sending documents to Sales and Shipping
  • Follow up all errors within the relevant department
  • Clear payments for Bought Ledger when required
  • Liaise with Sales Administration Repairs section / consignment inventory checks
  • Assist the Supervisor with the production of reports for the Accounts Manager and internal reports within the department
  • Processing all paperwork in a timely manner
  • Generate workshop practices accordingly
  • Monitoring of IPR Log and reporting to directors accordingly

Requirements

  • Be computer literate including Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
