Job Description:

Implementation Engineer role at Inflight Dublin, a world leader in Inflight Entertainment (IFE) content and digital solutions. The role involves assisting with the management of technical assets and helping with deliveries to clients.

Job Responsibility:

Enable Inflight Entertainment (IFE) systems (Hardware and Software) for our international clients
Configure and test the IFE system on our award winning Everhub server
Responsible for administrative tasks such as asset management and tracking, as well as coordinating hardware shipping and receiving
Lead the Quality Assurance testing process for client deliverables as needed
Assist with creation of training documents for both clients and internal staff on new software release updates
Prepare manuals and reports for application support
Provide customer support by efficiently resolving tickets submitted through the helpdesk system
Conducting proactive analysis of customer usage data to prevent potential issues and provide recommendations for product enhancements
Other tasks/projects as assigned by Manager

Requirements:

Experience in use of IT systems
Experience working with Linux operating systems
Experience in Quality Assurance an advantage
Experience with web technologies and software development an advantage (Github, JSON, JavaScript)
Additional experience in networking will be useful
Experience in Inventory Management & asset management
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
Experience with Atlassian Suite an advantage (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience with hardware maintenance an advantage
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Confident communicator, both verbal and written
Ability to demonstrate ownership, dive deep and deliver results
Ability to quickly develop (and nurture) relationships with suppliers and clients

Nice to have:

Experience in Quality Assurance
Experience with web technologies and software development (Github, JSON, JavaScript)
Additional experience in networking
Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience with hardware maintenance
