Job Description:

Implementation Engineer role at Inflight Dublin, a world leader in Inflight Entertainment (IFE) content and digital solutions. The role involves assisting with the management of technical assets and helping with deliveries to clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Enable Inflight Entertainment (IFE) systems (Hardware and Software) for our international clients
  • Configure and test the IFE system on our award winning Everhub server
  • Responsible for administrative tasks such as asset management and tracking, as well as coordinating hardware shipping and receiving
  • Lead the Quality Assurance testing process for client deliverables as needed
  • Assist with creation of training documents for both clients and internal staff on new software release updates
  • Prepare manuals and reports for application support
  • Provide customer support by efficiently resolving tickets submitted through the helpdesk system
  • Conducting proactive analysis of customer usage data to prevent potential issues and provide recommendations for product enhancements
  • Other tasks/projects as assigned by Manager

Requirements:

  • Experience in use of IT systems
  • Experience working with Linux operating systems
  • Experience in Quality Assurance an advantage
  • Experience with web technologies and software development an advantage (Github, JSON, JavaScript)
  • Additional experience in networking will be useful
  • Experience in Inventory Management & asset management
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite an advantage (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with hardware maintenance an advantage
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Confident communicator, both verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership, dive deep and deliver results
  • Ability to quickly develop (and nurture) relationships with suppliers and clients
