Job Description:

Join a dynamic and growing law firm in San Jose, CA, specializing in immigration law. Job Responsibility:

Assist attorneys with preparing and assembling immigration application packages, petitions, and related documentation
Manage case files and track deadlines to ensure timely filing and compliance
Communicate with clients (including Spanish-speaking clients), government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding case updates and requirements
Conduct legal research related to immigration cases as needed
Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, and legal documents in both English and Spanish
Coordinate scheduling for attorney-client meetings, court appearances, and other legal proceedings
Handle administrative tasks such as managing client records, billing, and inbound/outbound communications.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or legal secretary in a law firm environment
Strong understanding of immigration processes, including family-based petitions, employment-based visas, and naturalization applications
Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish (bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred).
