Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to work with our international law firm client on a long-term contract basis. This role requires someone with expertise in employment-based immigration and a thorough understanding of immigration law. Candidates should be prepared to handle complex tasks and contribute to a high standard of work.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft and prepare visa petitions, including supporting documentation for PERM labor certifications and national interest waivers
  • Organize and review materials to ensure compliance with immigration regulations and submission standards
  • Conduct research on immigration laws and procedures to support case preparation
  • Collaborate with attorneys and corporate clients to gather necessary information for filings
  • Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of immigration applications
  • Communicate with clients and government agencies to address inquiries and provide updates

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in immigration law, particularly employment-based immigration
  • Strong knowledge of PERM labor certifications and national interest waivers
  • Ability to manage complex cases with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with legal teams
