Job Responsibility

Directs and coordinates activities of distribution facilities
Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory
Coordinates activities of distribution facilities with activities of sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise
Communicates daily with cross-functional teams (i.e. outside carriers, plants, sales, finance, etc)
Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities
Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise and assembling customer orders for delivery
Loads and unload trucks of various product as needed
Pick and sort various product as needed
Maintains facility which includes cleaning and following safety and food safety processes
Responsible for reporting safety, food safety, and site security incidents and improvement recommendations to Leader
