At least 5 years of immigration law experience, including substantial exposure to removal defense work
Demonstrated ability to manage an active caseload independently and consistently meet filing and court deadlines
Experience handling matters before key immigration agencies and representing clients in interviews and hearings
Strong legal writing and analytical skills, with the ability to draft motions, briefs, and other substantive filings

Job Responsibility

Handle a broad range of immigration cases, including both proactive filings and defense-oriented matters, with responsibility for cases of varying complexity

Advocate for clients before relevant immigration agencies, the Department of State, and in court proceedings when required
Appear at interviews, hearings, and other official proceedings, preparing clients thoroughly and representing their interests effectively
Review and direct the work of paralegals and support staff to ensure filings are accurate, complete, and submitted on time
Prepare persuasive legal documents such as case summaries, motions, memoranda, and appellate-style briefs for agency and court matters
