The COACH – Community and Opportunities at Children’s Hospital – internship program mission is to create a pathway for emerging healthcare professionals, offering hands-on experience, structured development, and dedicated mentorship. The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8-Friday, August 14, 2026. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the setup and operation of simulator technologies, including anatomic models, task trainers, and full-body patient simulators
Maintain inventory, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and perform checks on simulation devices and AV systems
Learn about simulation technology and healthcare safety protocols
Attend a 2-day program orientation and onboarding
Participate in virtual and in-person workshops and activities
Requirements:
Undergraduate college student in good academic standing
Enrolled in a two-or four-year program for Fall 2026
Interest in working in healthcare
Interest in healthcare simulation, technology, or medical education environments
Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn technical systems
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills
Commitment to continuous learning
