As our Imaging Tech, you will perform a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse imaging modalities, under the general direction of departmental leadership.Every day, you will expertly operate complex imaging equipment, precisely execute imaging protocols, and meticulously monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.To be successful in this role, you will skillfully produce high-quality diagnostic images, collaborate effectively with the medical team, and steadfastly advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes within the imaging environment.
Job Responsibility:
Perform a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse imaging modalities, under the general direction of departmental leadership.
Expertly operate complex imaging equipment, precisely execute imaging protocols, and meticulously monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Skillfully produce high-quality diagnostic images, collaborate effectively with the medical team, and steadfastly advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes within the imaging environment.
Ensure a safe environment related to equipment, bed/cart rails, patient's mental status.
Provide education that includes explanation and rationale for all test, equipment and procedures explaining to patient prior to performance.
Allow control and choices over situations and environment as appropriate to condition and situation.
Allow for cultural and religious beliefs in providing services.
Observe for signs of abuse/neglect.
Facilitate maintenance of body image.
Respect privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
Must be experienced in operating equipment and evaluating images obtained, including anatomy and pathology so that additional images in varying positions may be obtained if necessary for correct diagnosis and
One or more years of experience and
Successful completion of a fully accredited (full accreditation means the training program is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or a similar, nationally recognized, accrediting agency), training program in the pertinent modality for which the employee was hired and
One or more years of experience in the specific modality for which the candidate is being considered and
Medical Radiographer: NV, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Breast Sonography, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire or

Must be available to take call and arrive at the hospital with a 30-minute response time.
