Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire

Job Responsibility

Producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions
Performing a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
Actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
Obtaining quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding
Using portable x-ray machines and c-arms
Assisting Radiologist with Fluoroscopic procedures
Instructing and educating patient regarding the ordered test and preparing the patient for the procedure
Using CR reader, erasing CR cassettes, sending images from CR reader, and performing image manipulation as necessary
Accessing PACS, reviewing studies, and performing basic functions for image manipulations
Resolving QA issues, closing studies as reviewed, burning CDs, transferring images, and printing from PACS
