Job Description

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician I to join our growing team. As a member of our Radiology Diagnostic department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of imaging procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including but not limited to: X-ray
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols and quality control standards
  • Analyze images for technical quality and identify any potential issues
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and infection control protocols
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital/acute care setting or satisfactory completion of a full rotation at Northridge Hospital Radiology department within the last year required
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA-approved school is required
  • License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (State) and Fluoroscopy certification is required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • LA City Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire
