Job Responsibility:
Acquire and maintain long-lasting business relations with local businesses
Perform customer needs analysis as input for the B2B Interior Designer
Actively work together with colleagues in other functions to secure the customer’s order can and will be fulfilled and the customer stays up to date with any changes to the plan
Present, negotiate and sell larger projects to the customer and his or her stakeholders/management group
Create sales quotations, follow-up on customer journeys and see projects to completion
Meet with customer in customer meeting points or at the customer’s location
Advise customers on the IKEA product range appropriate for the customer’s intended use and provide additional information around certificates and standards the products live up to in order to meet local standards and regulations
Understand and contribute to department action plans
Maximise sales by providing helping the customer to find solutions and services that meet his needs and budget
Represent the IKEA brand and sell the partnership with IKEA towards business customers
Requirements:
Good knowledge of the local market, our consumers and specifically business customers and their needs
Good knowledge of businesses, business trends and office trends
In-depth knowledge of the IKEA product range and services across all HFBs including technical specifications, test certificates and intended use
Good understanding of local rules and regulations related to furnishing businesses within all segments
Understand of the IKEA supply chain and the challenges this can create for the business customers shopping with IKEA
Good knowledge of relevant sales tools like iSell, Centiro, Sälja, iQuote, IKEA planning tools
Good understanding of the Business Customer Experience maps and how to influence each step of the customers journey
