Job Description:

IKEA Food Team Leader responsible for maintaining food quality standards, leading and developing team members, ensuring operational excellence, and driving sales in the food department while providing exceptional customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Maintaining IKEA Quality and Food Safety Standards
Producing and dating food according to specifications complying with HACCP standards
Ensuring compliance training is kept up to date throughout the team
Ensuring daily operational routines and actions are implemented
Lead, develop and coach team of co-workers
Provide necessary support, training and mentoring to team
Ensure Commercial and Operational areas of Food department are efficiently maintained
Ensure department is clean, organised, attractive and inviting
Actively sell IKEA Food products
Find creative ways to merchandise and drive sales
Support and lead change management within department and wider store

Requirements:

Experience working closely with co-workers and championing a customer-centric approach
An innate ability to lead by example, support and coach co-workers
Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels to deliver operational excellence
Must have availability to work a rotating roster with mix of day and evening shifts (7:00am to 10:00pm)
Must have availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday)
