IKEA Food Co-worker

• Ensuring area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting
• Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels
• Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake
• Active selling, cash handling and customer service
• Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service
• Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines
• Supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant
• Operation of ovens & fryers

• Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation
• Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment
• Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded
• Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people
• Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks
