Job Description:

Food Service Team Member ensuring operational excellence of IKEA Food. Food is your passion, whether cooking or serving customers. You know food plays a vital role in creating a better everyday life for the many people – especially when it's honest, healthy and delicious.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to IKEA Food concept
Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions
Maintain equipment operation through adherence to operating guidelines
Maintain clean supply of dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas
Manage Swedish Food Market merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation
Ensure accurate price communication across all food solutions
Maintain supply rotation and stocking adhering to FIFO and sustainability standards
Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years related experience
Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred
Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card (as required by local jurisdiction) required within 30 days of employment

Nice to have:

Experience in high-volume customer facing environment
Experience in high-volume retail environment with merchandising knowledge
