Job Description:

Food Service Team Member ensuring operational excellence of IKEA Food. Role involves food preparation, customer service, equipment maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a retail food environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to IKEA Food concept
Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions
Maintain equipment operation and conduct preventive maintenance
Maintain clean supply of dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas
Manage Swedish Food Market merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation
Ensure accurate price communication across all food solutions
Maintain supply rotation and stocking adhering to FIFO and sustainability standards
Adhere to food safety, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years related experience
Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred
Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card (as required by local jurisdiction) required within 30 days of employment
Must be 18 years old
Authorized to work in US
Must have open availability 7am-10:30pm especially weekends

Nice to have:
