Job Description:

Part-time position as IKEA Food Assistant in the restaurant department at IKEA Sukhumvit, focusing on customer service, food operations, and ensuring excellent customer experiences while representing IKEA values

Job Responsibility:

Ensure customers are always in focus and strive to make them smile
Be a good ambassador for the IKEA store in all customer contact
Have daily dialogue with customers to get continuous feedback about their experiences
Learn about products' content, origins, and benefits and share this knowledge
Work to optimize sales by knowing top-selling products
Support range changes and prepare readiness of area
Contribute to department's action plan and in-store activities
Provide input regarding range and pricing
Comply with internal rules, policies, and daily operational routines
Responsible for delivery of merchandise to customers
Ensure efficient and timely product delivery
Maintain inventory levels at warehouse level according to company standards
Ensure proper handling of goods using appropriate tools and software systems
Execute IKEA store operations according to Functional Commercial Review standards

Requirements:

Commit to a 24-hour work week (6 hours per day, excluding 1 hour break, 4 days a week)
Available to work on at least two weekdays as well as Saturday and Sunday
Sales-driven and passionate about food and people
Experience in food management and industry
Willing to learn new skills
Enjoy working in a vibrant fast-paced retail environment
Service-minded and always keep the customer in focus
Flexible and open to change
Confident in approaching and talking to people in a friendly manner
Take personal initiative and have good attention to details
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to learn new skills, both technical and non-technical
Ability/willingness to learn more about the IKEA products
Strong communication skills with customers, vendors and other departments
Computer literate, specifically in MS Office system
