Job Responsibility:
Ensuring the area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience
food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods
processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting the cleanliness of the customer restaurant
picking, packing and checking products in line with in-store and online customer orders
handing out Click & Collect orders and organising delivery
actively contributing to goods availability by ensuring accurate replenishment
using different types of forklifts and machines for fulfilment tasks
engaging and assisting customers in understanding their needs and providing knowledge on IKEA products and services
actively participating in selling products
maintaining a clean and organised sales area
supporting other areas of Customer Relations including resolving customer service issues and handling payments
processing returns and recognising when escalation is necessary.
Requirements:
Passionate about home furnishings and appreciator of quality focusing on maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sharing the IKEA product range with customers
a strong customer-focused mindset, always striving to deliver a memorable shopping experience
a ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage your own tasks
clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems and tools
a safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
