Job Responsibility

  • Takes full responsibility for developing the total IKEA Business and Financial Services business in the Australia and New Zealand, delivering agreed results supported by analytics and insights
  • Leads and motivates the cross-functional teams to support IKEA Business and Finance Services development and execution, fostering strong collaboration across all functions and units to maximise impact
  • Proactively contributes to the Selling agenda in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals
  • Drives tactical and operational planning, ensuring alignment with Business Plans, roadmaps, and banking relationships to reach defined targets
  • Develops and optimises relationships with external partners in alignment with governance frameworks to enhance customer experiences
  • Supports new initiatives with subject matter expertise, leading deployment and acceleration of innovative solutions
  • Drives an open and sharing climate, acts as a role model of the IKEA values and contributes to the transformation of IKEA

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders in complex, fast-paced environments, with proven ability to drive change and foster collaboration
  • Extensive experience of proven success driving growth in sales, customer experience, and partnerships within retail, financial services, or B2B industries
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial services including payment infrastructure, credit risk management, compliance requirements, and revenue models across partnerships and ecosystems
  • Extensive knowledge of local and global B2B markets with deep insights into customer needs, sales mechanisms, key account management, and regulatory requirements impacting financial services and B2B operations
  • Deep expertise in optimizing customer experiences across multichannel touchpoints to maximize conversion, sales, and engagement in both physical and digital environments
