Job Description:

Join a forward-thinking organisation delivering complex business transformation projects across defence, aerospace, manufacturing, and engineering. We’re on the lookout for an experienced IFS Developer to help shape, configure and deliver impactful ERP solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, configure and customise solutions within the IFS ERP system
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Maintain and improve existing modules, reports and integrations
  • Work on upgrade and migration projects, including moving to IFS Cloud
  • Support ongoing ERP change requests and enhancements
  • Ensure all development work complies with data and security policies (e.g. within SC-cleared environments)

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with IFS Applications (ideally versions 9, 10 or Cloud)
  • Solid knowledge of IFS development tools – e.g., IFS Developer Studio, PL/SQL
  • Proven ability to deliver custom configurations, reports, and integrations within IFS
  • Experience working within secure or regulated industries (e.g. defence, aerospace, manufacturing)
  • SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it (mandatory for this role)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with IFS Cloud implementations or upgrades
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, logistics, or engineering business processes
  • Exposure to working in Agile/Scrum environments
