Job Description:

IFRS 17 Consultant (immediately available) – Interim Contract | Insurance London, 3 days a week on site. I’m working with an insurance client who requires Interim IFRS 17 BAU support. This role will focus on both the operational and technical aspects of IFRS 17 reporting, supporting finance through a busy reporting cycle while also contributing to ongoing improvements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide BAU IFRS 17 reporting support (up to two quarters)
  • Analyse and narrate movements in IFRS 17 numbers
  • Support reconciliations and reporting outputs
  • Assist with ad-hoc project work, including elements of a Workday implementation
  • Contribute to process improvements and controls enhancements

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS 17 and IFRS 4
  • Understanding of UK GAAP
  • Prior experience supporting IFRS 17 in a live reporting environment
  • Ability to explain financial movements clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Insurance background essential
