Sagentia Aviation have an opportunity for a qualified and State approved Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) designer, joining as a Senior Consultant who would be interested in working across both civil and military projects. As a Senior IFP Designer you’ll provide IFP design and aviation safety skills to clients and assist in the improvement of aviation (flight) safety and development of business growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technical leadership and business development of civilian airport projects
  • Work across a wide variety of civil projects from safeguarding, procedures review through to new design
  • Delivering Civil airport review and design reports, user and operational requirement reports
  • Planning, delivery and execution of projects including provision of innovative solutions
  • Hazard identification meetings and safety case advice together with Safety Subject Matter Experts (SME)

Requirements:

  • Completed a recognised course in IFP Procedure Design iaw PANS OPS Doc 8168
  • Be a United Kingdom CAA Approved Procedure Designer
  • Have Instrument Flight Procedures published in a State Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP)
  • Substantial knowledge in IFP design
  • Completed the Air Navigation Institute (ANI) Basic and Advanced Courses (or equivalent) and IFP design apprenticeship period
