Job Responsibility

Lead electrical design for solar and BESS projects, including site plans, one-line diagrams, stringing plans, and equipment layouts
Review and approve designs for technical accuracy and compliance with NEC, IEEE, UL, and local AHJ requirements
Perform PV system calculations, cable sizing, grounding, and overcurrent protection per NEC and best practices
Provide conceptual layouts and feasibility reviews to support development and operations teams
Manage Issued for Permit (IFP) and Issued for Construction (IFC) plan sets, ensuring alignment with project timelines and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with Engineers of Record (EORs), utilities, and EPC partners for technical submittals and interconnection compliance
Review electrical studies (load flow, short-circuit, coordination) and recommend design improvements
Lead engineering for DC- and AC-coupled BESS systems, including inverter and battery configurations and protection coordination
Support major equipment selection (switchgear, transformers, relays, communication systems) and collaborate with vendors and EPC partners
