Sagentia Aviation have an opportunity for a qualified and State approved Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) designer, joining as a Senior Consultant who would be interested in working across both civil and military projects. As a Senior IFP Designer you’ll provide IFP design and aviation safety skills to clients and assist in the improvement of aviation (flight) safety and development of business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Technical leadership and business development of civilian airport projects
Work across a wide variety of civil projects from safeguarding, procedures review through to new design
Delivering Civil airport review and design reports, user and operational requirement reports
Planning, delivery and execution of projects including provision of innovative solutions
Hazard identification meetings and safety case advice together with Safety Subject Matter Experts (SME)
Requirements:
Completed a recognised course in IFP Procedure Design iaw PANS OPS Doc 8168
Be a United Kingdom CAA Approved Procedure Designer
Have Instrument Flight Procedures published in a State Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP)
Substantial knowledge in IFP design
Completed the Air Navigation Institute (ANI) Basic and Advanced Courses (or equivalent) and IFP design apprenticeship period
Nice to have:
Previous aviation experience, air traffic management, aviation safety or air systems operation
