Job Description:

A unique and exciting opportunity to join Cranstoun’s team to deliver our specialist victims/survivor interventions, North Somerset. Cranstoun’s victims service will provide immediate support and safety interventions for victims across the region of North Somerset.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver specialist victims/survivor interventions
  • Provide immediate support and safety interventions for victims
  • Work as part of the North Somerset DASS (domestic abuse support service)
  • Offer immediate safety planning, referrals to MARAC, identifying safe accommodation and emotional support
  • Work with communities and professionals to raise awareness of the issues, offer effective interventions, challenging values and attitudes that create conducive environments for domestic abuse to continue

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with Domestic Abuse or a related area
  • Experience of working on group work programmes, delivering training and community work would be advantageous
