PPG is looking for an Identity Security Associate Supervisor to join our IT team! You will maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of PPG's systems. You will contribute to the establishment of security-related policies by identifying opportunities for effective use of security tools and procedures. You will report to the Manager II IT Security and sit at our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters 3 days a week, remote 2 days.
Job Responsibility:
Work on a team of security analysts focused on access administration principles and security compliance principles
Provide frontline support of Identity Access Management
Analyze and provide information to third parties on security investigations
Collaborate with audit teams on security process deficiencies and provide remediation
Provide new/updated data compliance solutions to meet national security standards
Collaborate with global IT teams on projects requiring data governance providing solutions
Work with security awareness products to engage user community to bolster security
Focused on assisting user community on security access needs in all environments
Strong knowledge of Active Directory Infrastructure as well as company ERPS
Work on various internal projects/initiatives with internal and cross-functional teams
Supervisory: Oversee and support junior team members, ensuring effective task delegation and team performance
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their technical skills and professional development
Assign, monitor, and review the work of direct reports to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks
Facilitate team meetings to communicate priorities, project status, and security updates
Assist in performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Act as a point of escalation for technical issues or conflicts within the team, coordinating resolution efforts
Support workforce planning by identifying resource needs and participating in hiring processes as needed
Ensure team adherence to established security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Requirements:
3+ years of IT or a related discipline experience
Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
Working knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) and security compliance principles
Solid understanding of how security awareness plays a significant role in the overall security posture of an organization
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings
Must be comfortable working remotely and lack of face-to-face time with colleagues and managers
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred
