Job Description:

The Identity and Access Management Lead will join our Cyber Security team based in Sydney. You will be responsible for identity platforms, access governance, and authentication solutions including SSO, MFA, PAM, and RBAC. This role blends strategic direction with hands-on work, ensuring identity systems remain secure, scalable, and aligned to modern security practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic IAM Leadership: Lead the strategy, design, and enhancement of IAM, PAM, SSO, MFA, and access governance solutions to improve security posture and user experience
  • Automation & Integration: Drive automation, integration, and simplification initiatives, including onboarding applications onto SSO and optimizing identity workflows
  • Zero Trust & Modern Practices: Embed Zero Trust and least privilege principles by continuously implementing conditional access and modern information security policies
  • Compliance & Audit Governance: Ensure compliance with security and privacy frameworks through user access reviews and regular audits of policy settings on identity systems
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with HR, Legal, Procurement, and IT teams to deliver secure identity services and champion a strong security culture through training
  • Support & Continual Improvement: Provide troubleshooting and expert advice to stakeholders while driving continual improvement of identity models, configurations, and workflows

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in cybersecurity with deep IAM expertise
  • Expertise in design and IAM Tool configuration
  • Strong knowledge of identity platforms, directory services, MFA, SSO, and PAM
  • Skilled in problem-solving communication, and managing complex stakeholders
  • Ability to translate technical security concepts into business-relevant terms
  • An understanding of how security risks impact business objectives and have the ability to articulate these impacts clearly to stakeholders
