Identity & Access Management Engineer (RACF)

• Maintain the mainframe security environment
• Ensure identity management processes are followed using proper user access controls to comply with and industry standards
• Configuration and management of User, Group, Resource (including CICS & DB2), Dataset RACF Security profiles, and modification of SETROPTS settings
• Provide Tier 3 support for mainframe security inquiries/service requests
• Review and approve access requests based on established security policies
• Ensure robust user access controls, oversee identity management processes, and maintain strict adherence to compliance standards

• 5 years minimum, preferably 10 or more
• Responsible for maintaining the mainframe security environment with experience using RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) and zSecure
• Deep understanding of RACF required for managing access to mainframe resources
• Strong understanding of security concepts like access control, least privilege, and data protection
• Strong familiarity with mainframe system commands and utilities (TSO, ISPF, JCL, REXX)
• Provide Tier 3 support for mainframe security inquiries/service requests
• Review and approve access requests based on established security policies
• Previous experience working with zSecure and ServiceNow is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve RACF-related issues
• Familiarity with compliance requirements and auditing processes related to mainframe security
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
