Job Description:

At Allianz Life, you will lead the ideation process to ensure that the line of business maintains a pipeline of actionable and feasible product concepts that meet real consumer needs, drive profitable growth, and reflect market realities. You will work with leaders of a product line as well as other departments to ensure innovative product development. Additionally, you will help develop the product strategy and manage strategic and innovative product roadmaps.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help develop the product strategy
  • Create and manage formal discipline around the strategic thinking and product ideation capabilities within the Product Innovation team
  • Continuously analyze and update core product pipeline based on competitive and economic realities
  • Ensure effective coordination of product ideation with other departments (Distribution Marketing, Distribution, Actuarial, Digital, Consumer Insights, Competitive Intelligence, 3 year strategy team)
  • Develop the product business cases with stakeholders such as actuarial, distribution, and finance
  • Co-create the product position and segmentation analysis for targeting
  • Look for new opportunities for products line growth by working closely with distribution, actuarial, marketing, and data analytics.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience required including experience managing all aspects of a product line to differentiate company in market and deliver on profit and growth targets
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and implement complex projects and change initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future.
