As a National Internal Traveler RN, you will be a direct clinical registered nurse providing independent patient care within your scope of practice. Daily, you will utilize your advanced patient care skills, continuously enhancing your nursing knowledge, skills, and behaviors through education and involvement beyond basic job requirements. Job Responsibility:
Provide independent patient care within scope of practice
Utilize advanced patient care skills
Enhance nursing knowledge, skills, and behaviors through education
Maintain accountability for own practice, delegated care, and coordination of care delivery
Collaborate and communicate with the interprofessional team
Incorporate evidence when initiating changes to nursing practice
Utilize current evidence based practice knowledge, the nursing process, critical thinking and problem solving skills to provide holistic care
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in a critical care / intensive care unit
ADN or Nursing Diploma
Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and (ACLS) through American Heart Association
Other credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility, state license and other regulatory requirements for local, state and federal agencies
Certification in specialty preferred
