As a National Internal Traveler RN, you will be a direct clinical registered nurse providing independent patient care within your scope of practice.Daily, you will utilize your advanced patient care skills, continuously enhancing your nursing knowledge, skills, and behaviors through education and involvement beyond basic job requirements. Job Responsibility:
Utilizes current evidence based practice knowledge, the nursing process, critical thinking and problem solving skills to provide holistic care to individuals across the life span and care continuum
Collaborates and communicates with the interprofessional team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes
Maintains accountability for own practice, delegated care, and the coordination of care delivery
Acquires and maintains knowledge in nursing practice and assumes responsibility for the professional development of self, other nursing staff and students
Requirements:
Associate Of Nursing, upon hire or Diploma Of Nursing, upon hire
1-3 years Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health)
Basic Life Support - CPR (Porvided by AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Provided by AHA)
