Job Description

An exciting opportunity now exists for a first line support / helpdesk ICT Technician to work closely within a team of other ICT Technicians in a busy Multi Academy Trust (MAT). To support the ICT Manager and other ICT Technicians with supporting staff and students using the ICT system within the Trust.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the ICT Manager and other ICT Technicians with supporting staff and students using the ICT system within the Trust
  • Guide teachers, students and support staff whilst using ICT equipment to aid the learning process and to aid staff to complete their jobs
  • Help training of staff to enable teachers to teach their lessons effectively
  • Assist the Trust to deliver ICT innovation and have a part in the development and implementation of new technologies in education

Requirements

  • Good communication and telephone skills
  • Dedication to providing a professional level of customer service
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • A working knowledge of SIMS (School Information Management System) would be a distinct advantage
