Job Description

Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to deliver engaging and innovative lessons that develop students’ digital literacy, computational thinking, and practical technology skills. The successful candidate will inspire learners to achieve their full potential while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver high-quality ICT and Computing lessons
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
  • Promote safe, responsible, and effective use of technology
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support curriculum development and departmental initiatives
  • Participate in parents’ evenings, meetings, and school events
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject
  • Experience teaching ICT/Computing at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
