Job Description

We are looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Program Director (PD) who will lead number of projects in the CSS (Cloud Software Services) BOS domain (BSS/OSS)) towards its goal in terms of scope, time, costs, and quality in accordance with the agreement made with the project sponsor. You will ensure that a contract for products and/or services is delivered to the satisfaction of Customer, Program sponsor and Ericsson. To be successful, you will record details and clarify the project scope, secure the necessary resources and plan and monitor all necessary activities. Depending on the project category and complexity, you will be active participant in the project governance group and engage Stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Build a strong Customer Relationship at C-Level (IT, Engineering, Marketing, Finance etc.)
  • Manage projects operational relationships with the customer, arranging meetings, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Be responsible for contract fulfillment, establish the program organization, the project plan baseline, clarify scope and secure vital resources at the right cost level and supervise all activities
  • Manager conflicts and critical issues within a program
  • Manage program scope and change requests meticulously
  • Work closely with the account team during presales, responsible for contract execution strategy, cost estimations, time & resource planning
  • Support organizational set-up and growth
  • Provide strong leadership to drive cross-functional teams and program success
  • Handle project finance: ensure financial system monitoring
  • Drive improvement activities related to risk assessments and risk management
  • Actively seek to improve top and bottom lines, managing project finances and by identifying and driving add-on-sales opportunities
  • Mentor the project team and support their professional growth
  • Oversee third-party vendors and subcontractors across the full lifecycle of the program/project
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to secure cost efficiency, service levels, and compliance with Ericsson and customer requirements
  • Align vendor activities with Ericsson’s delivery commitments, ensuring seamless integration and coordination
  • Serve as the escalation point for vendor-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining collaborative relationships
  • Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual terms, driving improvements where required
  • Enforce adherence to Ericsson’s governance, compliance, and security standards in all vendor engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven track record in leading large Transformation Programs in Operators within ICT, BOS domains with a minimum budget of 10MUSD
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Systems Integration programs with tight deadlines, involving coordination across multiple vendors and diligent management of diverse subcontractors
  • Prime integration experience
  • More than 10 years in project and/or program manager role
  • or equivalent leadership role within ICT sector
  • Domain and Technology experience: BSS, OSS
  • Areas of Expertise: Ericsson Charging, Billing, Mediation, Order Care, Catalogue Manager implementations
  • Certification: PMI© project manager certification (PMP) or equivalent
  • Proven problem-solving skills and good in written & spoken communication
  • Customer focused and desire understand business and customer needs
  • Professional attitude with solid ability to prioritize, manage time and deliver results
  • Good team player with high interpersonal skills
  • Strong Leadership Skills are required
  • Proficiency in English
  • French speaking is highly recommended

  • People Management experience and MBA is plus
  • Experiences related to project management methodologies, techniques and tools
  • Professional competence related to the project type and the nature of the project outcome
  • Experience of working within the Telecom/IS/IT industry
