Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering, ICT or Computer Science (MEng, BEng or BSc)
Working towards, or already be, a member of a professional institute
3-4 years of experience working in an engineering design consultancy or for a contractor
Ability to take ownership for tasks and deliverables

Job Responsibility

Support the technical lead for allocated projects, undertake the production of designs for projects, ensuring that designs conform to client requirements, health and safety laws, industry standards and best practices
Design ICT physical infrastructure to support passive and at times active systems such as structured cabling systems, extra-low voltage building control and communications systems
Contribute to specifications, design, drawings and delivery of ICT and their supporting infrastructure
Be part of the QA and QC process as an author
Develop Performance Specifications for ICT using Revit, AutoCAD and BIM, including detailed calculations, technical specifications, drawings, Employers Requirements and tender documentation
Be involved with construction site visits to undertake compliance monitoring roles of ICT works, working alongside Senior members of the team
