Job Description:

Ariad is looking for an ICT Analyst for one of its clients operating in the energy sector. The mission takes place in a complex, regulated, and fast-evolving environment, where digital solutions play a key role in supporting critical business operations. The ICT Analyst will join product-oriented, Agile teams responsible for developing and maintaining business-critical applications related to energy flow management and associated processes. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, end users, developers, and other IT experts to ensure that solutions deliver real business value and remain aligned with regulatory and operational constraints.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze and understand business needs coming from various stakeholders
  • Challenge and clarify requirements to identify underlying business value
  • Translate business needs into: User stories and functional requirements, Functional specifications, UML and BPMN models
  • Analyze and model complex business processes (client onboarding, contracts, flow planning, billing, B2B exchanges, reporting, etc.)
  • Ensure alignment between functional solutions and existing IT architecture
  • Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment (Scrum / SAFe or similar)
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews)
  • Prepare, execute, and document functional test scenarios
  • Support users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Contribute to incident analysis and functional support in production
  • Maintain high-quality functional documentation and contribute to user training

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an ICT Analyst / Functional Analyst / Business Analyst
  • Strong experience in functional analysis and process modeling
  • Solid knowledge of UML and BPMN
  • Good understanding of complex information systems
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Languages: fluent English and good knowledge of French or Dutch
  • Proactive, analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
