Job Description:

This is your chance to join a fast growing ICP company that specialises in multi-utility connections and installations across the M25 area in London. They are fully NERS and GIRS accredited and have many exciting projects across the industrial, commercial, residential and generation scheme projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing the design process and understanding the commercial aspects of ICP projects - this includes contracts, costing sheets and asset value quotations
  • Help to manage more junior members of the team in their designs
  • Develop your own skills in the process

Requirements:

  • Be proficient in requesting Asset Values and the factors they rely on
  • Have a good understanding of the commercial aspects of ICP projects from end to end
  • Have a good understanding of DNO/IDNO adoption of HV and LV networks and the limits of these
  • Have a good understanding of necessary Switchgear needed on HV and LV schemes based on DNO/IDNO adoption & DNO G81 standards
  • Experience using AutoCAD software
  • Experience using Windebut or alternative modelling software
  • Experience creating HV and LV designs (11kV) on projects like substations, earthing designs as well as small power & lighting designs
  • Good understanding of point of connections (POCs) for DNOs and the commercial aspects around this
  • Good understanding of documentation needed for Design Submissions for approvals to DNOs and IDNOs
