The Ice Cream Scooper is responsible for providing friendly, efficient service to guests while preparing and serving ice cream treats. This role ensures high-quality presentation, maintains cleanliness, and supports a welcoming environment consistent with the guest experience standards at Union Creek Resort.
Job Responsibility:
Greet all guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service
Explain available flavors and menu items
offer recommendations when needed
Ensure all food is served in a clean, appealing manner
Scoop and portion ice cream accurately following established standards (e.g., double scoop portions)
Prepare cones, bowls, waffle cones, and add toppings as requested
Follow all HACCP and food safety procedures, including proper handwashing and glove use
Maintain a clean, sanitized work area, service counter, utensils, and equipment
Restock ice cream, cones, toppings, napkins, and supplies throughout the shift
Assist with opening and closing tasks, including cleaning, dishwashing, and waste removal
Communicate effectively with coworkers, kitchen staff, and management
Support other roles during peak times as needed, in alignment with Union Creek’s cross-functional service model.
Requirements:
Previous food service experience preferred but not required—training is provided
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
