St. Louis School – Archinto Campus is seeking to appoint a talented and experienced IBDP Coordinator to join our High School team in the heart of Milan. This is a key academic leadership position, ideally suited to a dynamic educator with a strong background in IB pedagogy, curriculum development, and teacher support. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of the IB Diploma Programme, ensuring alignment with IB standards and practices, while inspiring both students and staff to achieve academic excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the implementation, development, and evaluation of the IBDP, ensuring full alignment with IB policies and practices
Support and guide teachers in the delivery of DP subjects, providing ongoing professional development and fostering a shared understanding of IB philosophy
Coordinate internal and external assessments, including examination logistics, predicted grades, and data analysis
Liaise with the IBO and ensure that all regulatory requirements, documentation, and deadlines are met
Monitor academic progress and ensure robust systems for tracking, feedback, and intervention
Promote a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and international mindedness across the school
Contribute to school improvement planning and wider whole-school initiatives
Requirements:
A university degree in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification
Significant experience teaching in the IB Diploma Programme
Prior experience in an IB leadership role (Coordinator, Examiner, Workshop Leader, or School Evaluator is desirable)
Expertise in IB assessment strategies and the development of concept-based and inquiry-driven learning
A collaborative leadership style and strong communication skills to lead and inspire staff and students
A passion for continuous professional development and fostering academic excellence
A clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities of international education
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
knowledge of Italian is an advantage but not essential
Nice to have:
