Job Responsibility:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality IB Psychology lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme framework and assessment criteria
Create an engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking, research skills, and ethical awareness
Support students with Internal Assessments and Extended Essays related to Psychology, ensuring strong research design and academic integrity
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with IB standards, providing clear and constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and consistency across the IB programme
Provide academic guidance to students as needed in relation to university pathways and subject choices
Support elements of the university application process in collaboration with the College Counselling team
Participate in university events, information sessions, and parent workshops when required
Requirements:
A degree in Psychology, Education, Counselling, or a related field
A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Experience teaching IB Psychology or a similar curriculum at the upper-secondary level
Demonstrated experience in college counselling, academic advising, or university admissions
In-depth knowledge of global higher education systems (North America, UK, Europe, and Latin America)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide students and engage parents effectively
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Fluency in English (native or near-native level)
A genuine passion for supporting young people in both academic and personal growth
Enthusiasm for living and working in Latin America and contributing to a diverse, international school environment
