Job Description:

Inspired Education is inviting expressions of interest from qualified and passionate Drama / Theatre Arts Teachers with experience in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) who would like to be based in Southern Spain. The successful candidate will inspire creative expression and performance across middle and high school, deliver dynamic Drama lessons, guide students through theatrical explorations, and contribute to a thriving performing arts culture within the school.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Drama lessons across MYP and DP
  • Develop and enhance the Drama/Theatre Arts curriculum in alignment with IB standards
  • Direct and coordinate school productions, performances, and showcases
  • Manage departmental budget, resources, costumes, scripts, and technical equipment
  • Lead and support extracurricular and co-curricular performing arts activities, clubs, and trips
  • Collaborate closely with the Performing Arts team to inspire and engage students
  • Contribute to student pastoral care as a group advisor
  • Support safeguarding and school-wide responsibilities as required

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, Performing Arts Education, or a related field
  • Teaching certification and/or relevant licensure
  • Experience teaching IB MYP & DP Drama / Theatre
  • Strong personal performance, directing, or production experience
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative approach to departmental and whole-school development
