Job Description

We are seeking an Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions focused on Amazon Connect, AWS serverless technologies, and modern front-end applications. This role contributes to developing call routing flows, APIs, and user-facing experiences while helping ensure high standards for quality, security, and reliability.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and enhance Amazon Connect call flows supporting omnichannel customer experiences
  • Develop secure and scalable REST APIs
  • Build AWS serverless applications using Node.js/TypeScript, Lambda, CDK, S3, and DynamoDB
  • Develop modern front-end components using Vue.js and Nuxt.js that integrate with serverless APIs
  • Implement automated unit and integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, and operational best practices
  • Embed quality, security, observability, and reliability into all solutions
  • Provide technical direction to support successful delivery of solutions
  • Collaborate with engineers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and pair programming
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation

Requirements

  • Experience building AWS serverless applications using Node.js/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and call routing solutions
  • Strong experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Proficiency with AWS CDK, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB
  • Experience implementing automated testing (unit and integration)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently when requirements are not fully defined
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile environments
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with contact center analytics, workforce management, or quality monitoring tools
  • Experience with CloudWatch, X-Ray, Step Functions, EventBridge, KMS, and least-privilege IAM
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and platform engineering practices
  • Experience mentoring engineers and supporting technical leadership efforts
  • Experience working with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
