Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join one of the UK’s largest Independent Gas Transports (IGT) and Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO). You’ll join a business that has adopted over 700,000 connections across commercial, industrial and residential networks across the UK. As an I&C Estimator you will be responsible for the management of Independent Connection Providers (ICPs). You will also help to support and assure the smooth delivery of EV projects and promote these projects and the business to relevant customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare tender and contract documents for EV charging, HV and LV connections
  • Undertake cost analysis, prepare and evaluate tender returns, compile pricing clarifications and produce recommendation reports
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and variations
  • Own and operate the companies ICP Procurement System
  • Operate the business’s programme support technology in the tracking of tendering progress and any resolutions or escalations for problem sites

Requirements:

  • Construction/Electrical industry experience (2 years + preferred)
  • Previous experience with DNOs/IDNOs
  • Experience managing/coordinating multiple projects
  • Power distribution knowledge (HV/LV)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven commercial skills (procurement or contract management)
