Vysus Group is seeking experienced Senior and Principal I&C Control System Designers to support major nuclear, fuel-cycle, advanced reactor, and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects in the United States. These positions support highly regulated and safety-critical nuclear projects involving instrumentation and controls design, digital systems integration, multidisciplinary EPC execution, and advanced 3D modeling and CAD design activities.
Job Responsibility
Develop and modify instrumentation and control design drawings, layouts, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and installation details
Support 3D modeling and 2D CAD design activities using engineering design software tools
Prepare control panel layouts, junction box layouts, instrument location plans, and cable routing designs
Support SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) database development, reporting, and loop generation activities
Interpret engineering field information and perform field walkdowns with minimal supervision
Coordinate with engineers, designers, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams
Support procurement, construction, and project execution activities
Support estimates, schedules, staffing forecasts, and progress reporting activities
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree is required in either Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or any related engineering discipline
Significant experience in engineering and construction drafting, preferably within the nuclear sector, with strong technical knowledge and proficiency in relevant drafting practices and standards
Extensive experience in engineering and construction drafting, preferably within the nuclear sector, with demonstrated technical leadership and a proven track record of contributing to complex engineering projects

Manufacturing, Commercial, Industrial or Oil Gas/Chemicals facility projects
Practical field, commissioning, or startup experience
Experience leading engineering teams and project execution
Experience with engineering software and design platforms such as Navisworks, SmartPlant Review, Instrucalc, AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, Smart 3D (S3D), Revit, and other 3D modeling and 2D Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) tools is preferred
