Our Spalding site has a restaurant with hot food available to all our colleagues.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nAs a Hygiene Operative you be required to undertake all aspects of cleaning all food manufacturing areas, equipment and machinery to meet food hygiene standards. You will be carrying out the consistent application of hygiene within a given area/line to make sure the area is maintained to the agreed standards. It'll be part of your job to ensure that all sanitation processes are completed in full and that hygiene standards for a given area are maintained during the production shift.\n\nSome duties include:\n\nCarry out Daily Cleaning of all areas of the factory as part of a team\nTo schedule Deep cleaning of large machinery\nWearing full PPE such as : Chemical suit, Visor, Wellingtons, Gloves and Safety goggles\nWorking in Chilled and Hot environments\nFilling out Paperwork to document the cleans\nPromote good health and safety culture within the work place\nUse of/ and storage of chemicals\nReporting of any damaged equipment or machinery\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n\nAnybody is able to do this role as training and education will be provided. Previous experience is an advantage but not a necessity. A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written is a must. Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake all aspects of cleaning all food manufacturing areas, equipment and machinery to meet food hygiene standards
  • Carry out the consistent application of hygiene within a given area/line to make sure the area is maintained to the agreed standards

Requirements:

A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written is a must. Anybody is able to do this role as training and education will be provided. Previous experience is an advantage but not a necessity. Any background with COSHH and HACCP is highly advantageous but not a necessity.
