Requirements

Supervise factory hygiene operatives to achieve and maintain high standards of performance, development, safety, hygiene and discipline
Ensure all technical paperwork is completed accurately and fully
Responsible for the training, mentoring and coaching of the team
Ensure the effective training and review of hygiene operatives to a high degree of competency
To work with factory management in ensuring the hygiene function is carried out within the area, meeting set KPI’s and GMP standards
To take a weekly stock of cleaning chemicals and equipment
To ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and in hygienic condition
To ensure the chemicals are kept clean, tidy and secure at all times
Maintain the Health, Safety and Welfare of yourself and other employees in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
Adhere to Control of Substances Hazard to Health (COSHH) regulations

Job Responsibility

Effectively manage the hygiene team to ensure hygiene is maintained to a high standard for the area, whilst working within all quality, legal and safety standards
Daily report to your Manager of issues and actions already taken
Ensure all department responsibilities are carried out as per schedules and all issues are reported and dealt with within the set timescales

Job Responsibility

To clear all meat, offal, and fat from machines to a high hygienic standard
To pressure wash, pad and/or degrease all production machinery, floor, and wall areas
Remove any other debris from production areas ensuring all floor areas are thoroughly clean
Ensure all waste is disposed of in the correct bins and skips
Ensure all machinery is switched off and isolated before any cleaning work is commenced
To become adaptable to be able to clean any department of the factory to the required high standard
Assist other members of the night hygiene team as needed to ensure a thorough clean is completed
Undertake any other duties that may be required connected with cleaning processes
Undertake chemical training during 3-month induction program
Ensure any chemicals you may use are stored correctly with lids fitted when not in use
