Back Shift - Sunday-Thursday 14:00-22:00. Pay Rate: £15.27 per hour. Why Greencore? We produce coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads and couscous/grains for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Nando’s and Pizza Hut. Our Spalding site has a restaurant with hot food available to all our colleagues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake all aspects of cleaning all food manufacturing areas, equipment and machinery to meet food hygiene standards
  • Carry out consistent application of hygiene within a given area/line to maintain agreed standards
  • Ensure all sanitation processes are completed in full
  • Maintain hygiene standards during production shift
  • Carry out Daily Cleaning of all areas of the factory as part of a team
  • Schedule Deep cleaning of large machinery
  • Wear full PPE (Chemical suit, Visor, Wellingtons, Gloves, Safety goggles)
  • Work in Chilled and Hot environments
  • Fill out Paperwork to document the cleans
  • Promote good health and safety culture
  • Use of and storage of chemicals
  • Report any damaged equipment or machinery

Requirements:

  • A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience is an advantage but not a necessity
  • Any background with COSHH and HACCP is highly advantageous but not a necessity
